Getting your lift installed right.
We don't ship you a lift and disappear. Tell us where your shop is and we'll connect you with an experienced lift installer who works in your area.
Make sure your space is lift-ready
Four things decide whether a lift will work in your bay. Check them now and install day goes smoothly. Your lift's installation manual always has the final word.
Ceiling height
Measure from the floor to your lowest obstruction: garage door track, opener, lights or beams. Compare it to the lift's overall height plus the height of your tallest vehicle raised.
Concrete slab
Lifts anchor into your floor. Many two-post lifts call for at least 4 in. of 3,000 PSI concrete, fully cured, with no cracks or seams where the posts land. Larger lifts may need more.
Power supply
Most hydraulic power units run on a dedicated 220V single-phase circuit; some smaller lifts use 110V. Check the spec on the product page and have a licensed electrician make the connection.
Bay space
Leave room for the lift's footprint, the vehicle's approach, and space to walk around it and open doors once it's up in the air.
