The Triumph NTC-950 Tire Changer and NTB-550 Wheel Balancer is a complete wheel service pair — everything needed to change and balance tyres on passenger cars and light-duty vehicles in one purchase, on standard 110V power, without a powered assist arm or a three-phase supply.

The NTC-950 clamps rims from 16 to 28 inches on the inside and up to 26 inches on the outside, breaks beads with 5,500 lbs of force, and seats reluctant beads with a Jet Blast Inflation System — a concentrated burst of air into the sidewall that seats the bead during inflation instead of after several attempts.

The NTB-550 balances to +/-1 gram accuracy in 6 to 9 seconds, with a foot-pedal wheel brake that locks the wheel during weight placement for precise, repeatable results. Set-up data is entered by hand — rim width, diameter, and offset — every wheel. That is the trade that puts this pair at the entry level of the range, and the measurement accuracy itself is unaffected.

Both machines run on standard 110V power. The NTC-950 requires a compressed air supply — refer to the machine's manual for the required flow rate and pressure. The NTC-950 does not include a powered assist arm. For conventional passenger car and light-duty vehicle tyres on standard sidewalls, the mount head and tyre iron handle the job without an assist arm. For stiff-sidewall run-flat tyres, which resist being folded into the rim's drop centre, a powered assist arm is required. If run-flats make up a significant part of your work, contact our team before ordering.

Do both machines require special electrical wiring?

No. Both the NTC-950 and NTB-550 run on standard 110V household power. No three-phase supply, no dedicated circuit, and no electrical upgrade is required before use.
